What’s your biggest challenge as a designer or creative?
I love to try new things and wear many hats. My biggest challenge is a classic most designers face – balancing personal creative ideas with commercial output.
What’s a piece of advice that has stuck with you?
Nothing is forever.
What are your top 3 favorite books or movies? (doesn’t have to be design-related)
- Project Hail Mary
- Tom Lake
- Station Eleven
- 9 ½
- The Talented Mr. Ripley
- Practical Magic
What’s one tool, object, or routine that helps you get through the workday?
Coffee & hand written to-do lists… very old school.
What sparks creativity for you?
Looking at other things – film & TV, fashion, books, art, nature, my dogs….
What do you love doing outside of design?
I’m an avid gardener and I’m learning to sew.
