This October, AIGA Baltimore is planning another month-long celebration of design and designers in Baltimore and beyond.
Our theme this year is Designing Life.
Design brings ideas to life.
Design is a part of life.
Design is a vital force for culture, business, and society.
This October, we’ll share the room with our fellow creatives at in-person events. We’ll listen to a panel of local designers who are using their skills to advocate for quality of life. We’ll celebrate AIGA’s longest living student group (20 years old!) And we’ll peek into life at some of Baltimore’s award-winning agencies.
Check back for updates throughout the month! Be sure to follow AIGA Baltimore on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn and subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss one day.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with online presentations by Dr. María de Mater O’Neill and Ramdwin González-Otero on untold design stories about the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico.
Join us for a panel discussion with Mindgrub’s creative team to hear their thoughts about their transition to Figma, Adobe’s acquisition of Figma, cross departmental collaboration, and their predictions for the future of design software.
Flux is a nationwide student design competition presented annually by AIGA Baltimore. Established in 2007 by the former chapter AIGA Blue Ridge, Flux celebrates the best creative work produced each year by undergraduate and graduate students from across the country. Entries are selected by a jury of leading design professionals and showcased in a gallery exhibition as well as online.
