Black Creatives: Navigating in Spaces That Weren’t Built for Us
There’s something meaningful about being in a room with people who are shaping culture in real time. This panel is built with that in mind.
Join us for an evening centered on the experiences, perspectives, and creative paths of Black designers and thinkers working across disciplines. Olivia, President of AIGA Baltimore, will guide the conversation with a steady hand, making space for honest reflection and dialogue.
You’ll hear from Drew, Communications Director at AIGA Baltimore, alongside JaVon of VIVID Consulting, Dr. Perry Sweeper from Duke University Divinity School, Monique, a creative founder, and Genesis, a designer at Hord Coplan Macht. Each brings a different lens, shaped by their work and the communities they move within.
Food and beverages will be available throughout the event.
