About the Speaker:
Rick Griffith is a graphic designer, occasional writer, and letterpress printer. For the last 20 years, he has been the design director at the Denver design studio MATTER and a traveling lecturer, he is a former Commissioner of Cultural Affairs for the City and County of Denver and has won numerous awards from PRINT, TDC, AIGA, and The Hamilton Printing and Woodtype Museum. The studio stationery line MATTERIAL has been featured in Dwell magazine and Rick's works are in the Design Archive of the Denver Art Museum and The Butler Library at Columbia University.
