AIGA Baltimore Design Month: Crafting the Page

Join us on October 28, from 6-8 p.m., for a dynamic panel discussion featuring Ellen Lupton, Raquel Castedo, and Tony Venne, leading professionals in the field of publication design. Together, they will share their insights and experiences, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative and collaborative process involved in publishing books and periodicals.

Ellen Lupton will discuss her personal journey and offer practical tips on designing your own books. Raquel Castedo will focus on art and artist books, highlighting the significance of designer-artist partnerships. Tony Venne will explore the collaborative relationship between designers and publishers, emphasizing key factors contributing to successful publications.

Cara Ober, BmoreArt's publisher and editor-in-chief, will moderate the conversation.

Note: We will be raffling off (2) $15.00 vouchers to R. House so don’t miss out!

This event is part of AIGA Baltimore Design Month, hosted by MICA, BmoreArt, and AIGA Baltimore, and promoted in collaboration with the Soceity for History and Graphics (SoDA).
