Join us at OpenWorks on February 4th to check the pulse of AIGA Baltimore as we move into 2019! We’ll look back at what we brought to light in 2018 and discuss together how we can continue to create a city where design thrives in 2019.
Our goal is to make design attainable, to prove its impact, and to unite people more deeply in Baltimore with each other. If you have ideas, the AIGA Baltimore Community Meeting is the perfect place to make your voice heard. Everyone is welcome—members, non-members, designers, non-designers, and beyond. If you have a desire to see our community grow and flourish then we urge you to join us. Whether you're new to the area, new to AIGA, ready to get involved, or just curious about what's going on in the Baltimore creative community, this monthly meeting is a great place to get started.
About the venue:
This month we are hosted by Open Works—a creative center for "makers" to thrive. Open Works provides all the necessary tools, technology, and the knowledge to use them while keeping everything accessible and affordable via membership access to workshops; friendly, expert staff; and classes for youth, adults, and families. To learn more, visit www.openworksbmore.com.
What to expect:
You, as an attendee, will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas to the conversation and connect with other creatives. We want to make sure everyone gets what they want out of these meetings, so please contact us if you have a topic to discuss. Come out to hear what went on in Bmore’s AIGA last year and help shape the activities of the upcoming year!
The Fine Print:
This event is FREE and open to the public, however space is limited (up to 50), so please be courteous to others and plan to attend if you register.
Open Works is in the Station North neighborhood of Baltimore city. Parking is easily accessible in the free Open Works parking lot or on surrounding streets.
