AIGA Baltimore Community Meeting

Let's create a city where design thrives! And let's do it by making design attainable, by proving its impact, and by uniting people more deeply in Baltimore with each other. AIGA Baltimore is excited to announce our next Community Meeting, and everyone is invited—AIGA members, non-members, designers, non-designers and beyond. If you have a desire to see our community grow and flourish then we urge you to join us. Whether you're new to the area, new to AIGA, ready to get involved or just curious about what's going on in the Baltimore creative community, this monthly meeting is a great place to get started. PLUS this month our special guests, Director of Programs, Mary Hester, and board member, Jane Coffey, from the Arts Education in Maryland Schools Alliance will discuss collaboration ideas to further arts education in our area.

This August, AIGA Baltimore invites you to Mozell Films, a film studio named after founder, Lee Morton's late grandmother, Mozell (Mo for short), who represented hospitality, authenticity and work ethic. Mozell Films is relentlessly passionate about creating sincere, disruptive stories with evocative imagery. To learn more, visit www.mozellfilms.com.

You, as an attendee, will also have the opportunity to contribute your ideas to the conversation and connect with other creatives. We want to make sure everyone gets what they want out of these meetings, so please contact us if you have a topic to discuss. Come out to hear what went down at our last meeting and help shape the activities of the upcoming community meetings! This event is FREE and open to the public, however space is limited (up to 50), so please be courteous to others and plan to attend if you register. Mozell Films is located on Union Avenue, just across the train tracks. Limited free parking is available on Union Avenue, just past the entrance to Mozell Films.
