This all-ages event (for designers and non-designers alike) builds upon last year’s Instagram-based “race” to spell a phrase using typefaces found in Baltimore. This year, we’re challenging contestants take part in three distinct challenges to compete for prizes. All team members will explore Baltimore using non-motorized transportation (crab-walking, jump roping, rollerblading, and cycling are all fair game).

A judging panel will select winners based on teams’ scores in the following three categories:

• Most Creative Letter Arrangement
• Best Costume (Halloween is only days away; make the most of your costume!)
• Scavenger Hunt: a list of photo challenges will be posted on the day of the challenge

10:30 a.m. Check-in at Race Pace Bicycles
11:00 a.m. Challenge kicks off
1:00 p.m. Contestants must check in at end location, Myth and Moonshine Tavern
