This Design Week, we're taking the conversation out of the screen, off of the paper, and onto the outfit. Join the Baltimore creative community on October 26th at Baltimore Artists Union as we experience a conceal and reveal fashion show, featuring a panel of local design talents!
From sustainable fashion to wearable art, 15+ beautiful and unique looks will be showcased by our very own Baltimore designers and models in one of Baltimore’s hidden gems, the Baltimore Artists Union (formerly Creative Labs) nestled at the end of Union Avenue. After the show, learn how the designers overcame and solved one of their most challenging pieces, then watch as it is revealed to the audience. This event is for the fashion enthusiast and fashion admirer alike.
Tickets are up to 30% OFF for the final week!
Non-Members: $28
AIGA Members: $18
Students: $8
Tickets include entrance to the fashion show, savory bites by Sweet Tea and Cornbread (with gluten free + vegan options), sweet treats, music and dancing! A cash bar will feature local beverage vendors. If you can't make it to the show, be sure to come by for the party of the year!
Schedule:
The event starts with the introduction of our talented panel of designers. Each designer will showcase 3-5 original outfits or items of their collection to the audience. After the show, the designers will take you behind the scenes during a panel discussion focusing on the one project that challenged them the most and how they overcame the challenges to complete that one design. At the end of their talk the design will be revealed to the audience. The big reveal will be followed by an audience Q&A session. The evening will culminate in our Baltimore Design Week Closing Party.
