The Wire. The Ravens. The Riots. For folks around the country, Baltimore is summed up in these few words or memories. We think its time to change that narrative. As a Baltimore native, chronic storyteller, and owner/ creative director at Baltimore-based video-production company Stereoscope Studios, Alec Walker knows its about time we shift the story of Baltimore.
Join AIGA Baltimore and Alec at Judges Bench in Ellicott City on September 30th for our second Fireside Chat! For this month's event, we're unpacking the question, Why Baltimore?" This event is FREE and open to the public, however space is limited (up to 15), so please be courteous to others and plan to attend if you register. The Judges Bench is in the heart of historic Old Ellicott City. Free parking is available on streets and in nearby lots.
What's Fireside Chat? It's an opportunity for you to bring your ideas to the table, in an open and inviting space (think Open Mic for Creatives). Got an idea you want to share? Bring it! Have a question youd like answered? Ask it! Want feedback on a presentation, or design youre working on? Now is your chance! Topic submissions for Fireside Chats are open to all (by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org) and will be selected on a first-come-first served basis.
