Make Something Amazing: Designing with Adobe Mobile Apps

If you have an iPhone, Android Device, or iPad, did you know you’re holding a powerful creative tool right in the palm of your hand? With apps that let you draw, paint, and create layouts with the touch of a finger, the creative process doesn’t have to end simply with uploading a photo to Instagram. You can do so much more!

Learn how with instructor Brian Wood and AIGA Baltimore in an introductory workshop centered on designing with Adobe’s mobile apps, such as Adobe Photoshop Mix and Adobe Capture CC. From sketching to retouching, you’ll soon discover how your mobile device can transform words and pictures into compelling stories, graphics for social media, and animated videos.

This workshop is geared towards community members of all ages and abilities, however knowledge of modern day mobile devices and apps will be helpful during this event. It’s recommended that you visit the Play Store or the App Store and download one or a few of Adobe’s mobile apps before attending.  


Meet the Instructor

Brian Wood is a web guy and an author of 12 books, including Adobe Muse CC Classroom in a Book (2016) and Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 Classroom in a Book, and other numerous training titles including Muse, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator and more.

In addition to training many clients, such as Nordstrom, REI, Boeing, Starbucks, and Nintendo, Brian speaks regularly at national conferences like Adobe MAX, HOW Design, HOW Interactive. He has also written articles for SmashingMagazine.com, Peachpit.com, CreativePro.com, and more.
