Wet your brushes and whet your appetite with a Watercolor Workshop at Wet City!
Do you fancy yourself an artist? Interested in bringing a more organic quality to your design? Then throw on your painting clothes, grab a friend or two, and bring out the passionate artist inside you. Join us at Wet City on August 20th to learn watercolor painting techniques from a fellow AIGA member and 15-year practitioner of the art, Anne Kostecki.
You'll take away insight on the best supplies, instruction on practicing brush strokes, techniques, pressure, how to experiment with different brushes, all the while helping you a create your own artwork to take home with you. After you're done feeding your starving artist, Anne will show you how to scan and clean up your art in photoshop, turn your watercolor pages into a digital, printable and repeatable design!
What to bring:
• A photo or small subject to paint – you’ll be taking home your masterpiece!
• All painting supplies will be provided, just bring your expressive souls and open minds
A limited number of tickets are available, so register early to assure a spot. Tickets are $35 for AIGA members and $40 for non-members. In addition to the workshop instruction and use of the artists’ materials, your ticket price includes one drink and light appetizers.
